The next step in the Clubhouse Development Plan has begun. It comprises:

1. Construction of a new ground floor gents toilet off the main lobby and adjacent to the disabled toilet.

2. The disabled toilet is to be used also as a ladies visitors toilet and appropriate new signage will be displayed.

3, With the above completed and functional, visitors should not need to visit the changing rooms and a secondary security key fob access will be installed on the door from the main lobby to the changing rooms, fitness gym and squash courts.

4. Refurbish the remainder of the old clubhouse in the style and decor of the bar room and enclose the veranda. This will include refurbishment of the partitioning and external access doors from the veranda.

5. Strip out the existing ground floor gents toilet, replace window and refit the room for use as a secure Club Office.

The work will be arranged to reduce any impact on the day to day running of the Club and functions, and should be completed in four to five weeks. To avoid risks please observe any temporary instructions on access restrictions and ensure that children are kept out of working areas.
