The club over 45 team has been keeping a low profile, but it is time for us all to know of their successes in the National Inter Club Competition this season. The team of Martyn Todd, Julian Pollard, Jonathan Hofstetter & Julian Robertson has reached the semi-final of the event. In a 64 draw they have beaten Carisbrooke, Wolverhampton, Canterbury and Letchworth to reach the last four. Their semi-final opponents are not yet known, but will probably be the number two seeds, The Leicestershire Club.

Never before has a club 45 team progressed beyond the second round. Their task has been made more difficult by the fact that Julian is working in Jersey, and Andrew in Switzerland, so they can only be available by flying back for matches at weekends!
