Former Club Chairman, David Spooner, had been working on the history of the Club.

Unfortunately, he has recently died and his widow has passed his papers on to life member David Tyler, who wishes that they are kept by the Club and hopes someone will carry on this work of researching the Club's history.

The papers are being forwarded to Club Administrator, Tony Pillinger, for safe keeping.

The Club is hoping that a member may have enough time and interest to continue with David's work. If anyone is interested and willing to consider taking on the research task, please contact Tony at tony_pillinger@yahoo.co.uk
