A Junior Friendly Club
We cater for all standards of junior, from beginner to County level. We believe that a good club needs to provide ample opportunities for juniors to receive coaching, to compete and to play socially with their friends.
CLUB NIGHTS
Full Ball club night (Year 7-13) takes place on a Wednesday 4pm-6pm.
Mini Tennis club night (Year 1-6) takes place on a Friday 4pm-6pm.
Junior Club nights take place during the 36 week term programme and they are open and free to all junior members. They provide a great opportunity to play rating matches and socialise with other juniors.
BOX LEAGUES
Junior singles internal leagues are run throughout the year. These box leagues provide a good opportunity to improve your rating. Juniors can join at any time by putting your name on the appropriate notice.
TEAMS
The club has a range of teams (U8-U18) that participate in a number of competitions throughout the year.
COACHING
The club is an LTA Performance Satellite Club. It runs an extensive junior coaching programme, both in the school term time and during the school holidays.
The club has an excellent team of coaches led by Club Manager, Tony Pillinger. The two full time CCA coaches are David Fuller and Miguel Espada. All coaches are qualified and hold LTA Licences.
For information on the junior coaching programme - check out the tennis coaching section of the website.
TOURNAMENTS
In the summer the club holds its closed tournament.
The club holds a number of Grade 5 and 6 tournaments during the year. At the start of August, the club hosts its annual Summer Grade 4 week long tournament.
