Racketball 5/3/08 - vs Cannons Worcester, away (Leamington won 3-1)

The unbeaten Leamington Spa racketball team headed to Worcester for its penultimate game.

First on at number 4 was Dave against Mark Dillon. As usual and predicted by “undiscovered tribes in the heart of the Peruvian jungle” Dave won 3-0 (15-11 15-11 15-10).

At number 3 Andrew got back to winning ways against Paul Sanders despite not being able to bend over due to a bad back! The 15-13 15-11 15-9 was quite comfortable.

Paul started well at number 2 against Stuart Cholerton winning the first 15-7 and going 14-0 up in the second before winning it 15-3. This meant that Paul relaxed in the third and lost it 16-17 but stepped it up again the fourth to win it 15-7.

At number 1 Jeremy had a tough opponent in young squash player Richard Colman. Jeremy played well initially winning the first 15-11. The next two went to Richard 8-15 5-15 before Jeremy made a fight of it in the fourth coming back from 9-14 down to 16-15 up before losing 16-17.

So a 3-1 win to Leamington Spa with a 12-4 scoreline.
