Established in 1872, Leamington Lawn Tennis and Squash Club holds the title of First Lawn Tennis Club in the World. That’s right, it all started in Royal Leamington Spa – three years before Wimbledon opened it’s doors.
These days we also have a very active squash section, our own gym and fabulous new bar.
The tennis section of the club has been back on court now for a few weeks with the majority of the activities back underway, including the monthly ladders, coaching and club championships.
Wednesday 30th September – Revised Track and Trace Guidelines (to include new NHS COVID-19 App and manual recording system in reception

Our wonderful contemporary bar – The Hidden Gem – has a large indoor and outdoor space, which overlooks the tennis courts. This has recently re-opened, with Government-led social distancing guidelines being fully adhered to, and is available for all members and guests from the same household. The hours of service are as follows:
Mon – Fri 10am to noon & 6pm to 10:30 pm
Sat 9am to 7pm
Sun 2pm to 6pm
Can everyone close the tennis court gates AFTER 8pm or if you think you are going to be the last players on the courts.
We have to keep the court gates open to minimise points of contact but it saves wear and tear on our volunteers if they don’t have to close them at night.
Sign up by Friday 30 October
