It is very important that the Club is a sociable place for its members. The Social Committee represents all Club members and is made up of volunteers from all parts of the Club and new volunteers are most welcome. It encourages members to come to the Bar, and organises social events for the Club on a regular basis. Its aims are:

To offer social events to complement the sporting programme and promote social interaction for Club members, and their guests.
To help create an atmosphere where members of all sporting skill levels can meet other people and make new friends.
To collaborate with all areas of the Club in support of their social needs.
Although not expressly aimed at making a profit, occasionally small profits are made which are used to enhance social aspects of the Club.
